The Spirit of Reyolutionary Martyrs in Red Crag

   1939年1月至1946年5月，重庆，一大批中国共产党党员和革命志士，为了实现民族独立和解放，在以周恩来为首的南方局的领导下坚持奋斗。他们在极其险恶的斗争环境中，深怀民族大义，高举爱国主义伟大旗帜，不顾个人安危，以实际行动捍卫业已形成的抗日民族统一战线，形成了红岩精神。这一精神的主要内涵是爱国、团结、奋斗、奉献。红岩精神是中国共产党人和中华民族的宝贵精神财富，在新的历史条件下，全党全社会要大力弘扬红岩精神，凝聚中华民族伟大复兴的磅礴力量。

   To achieve national independence and liberation, a large number of Chinese Communists and revolutionaries worked under Zhou Enlai and other CCP leadership in Chongqing from January 1939 to May 1946. Keeping the national interest at heart, these patriots braved untold dangers and defended the national united front, giving rise to the Spirit of Revolutionary Martyrs in Red Crag, named after the village where the Communist leadership was located in suburban Chongqing from 1939 to 1946. Their fiery struggle tempered an iron will and a spirit that can be encapsulated in four words: patriotism, unity, struggle, and dedication. The Spirit of Revolutionary Martyrs in Red Crag is the spiritual treasure of the CCP members and the whole nation. Under the new historical conditions, the whole Party and the whole society should vigorously carry forward the Spirit of Revolutionary Martyrs in Red Crag and pool the strength of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
